Cleantech East member and Hethel Engineering Centre tenant, Equipmake, have developed the AMP200 drivetrain for the new, high performance, electric sportscar in collaboration with UK Niche Vehicle manufacturer, Ariel. The High-Performance Carbon Reduction ( HIPERCAR ) project is on track for a 2019 release. Focused on high performance, agility, usability with ultra-low emissions the car will be built in Somerset, England in a collaborative effort between Ariel, Equipmake and Delta Motors.

In many parts of the country, house envelopes are notoriously leaky, with unintended air infiltration that results in additional space-heating and -cooling equipment loads. While voluntary codes and standards for envelope tightness have existed for decades, only recently have these codes become a requirement.
