A new study by Uswitch out of the United Kingdom shows some significant changes in air quality in many major European cities over the last two years. Athens, Greece improved air quality with a ~35% drop in pollutants from 2019 to 2021 while Reykjavík had the highest air pollution increase of ~14%.

What appears to be the UK’s first hydrogen-fuelled waste collection vehicle was revealed on 17 February in Aberdeen, seemingly running on green hydrogen from existing refuelling infrastructure in the city. The truck will start collecting waste and recycling around the city from early March, covering wheeled bins in various parts of the city before moving to mixed recycling and bulk bins on other routes.
