California regulators have allocated $45 million to incentives for heat pump water heaters through 2025, in another step on the path toward the state's 2045 carbon neutrality goal. The CPUC said it may revisit whether to dedicate additional funding for heat pump water heaters after a spring workshop on the new SGIP funding.

Volvo Trucks UK & Ireland planned to install high-powered charge points at two of its service workshops for battery-powered HGVs and buses. The transition to all-electric trucks requires charge points that can be up to 50 times more powerful than fast chargers for cars.
