Degradable / Biodegradable. If not, or if the item will ultimately pile up in a landfill, burn in an incinerator or be recycled, then avoid the term and its siblings, such as 'oxo-biodegradable'. Are you telling the customer they're getting something recycled or biodegradable? Ozone-safe or ozone-friendly.
