Ormat Technologies (Ormat) has been awarded the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contract valued at approximately $200 million by Contact Energy for the development of the 101-MW Te Mihi 2 geothermal power plant in New Zealand. Qingshui geothermal power plant, Taiwan hits 38m-kWh milestone

The operators of the Qingshui geothermal power plant in Yilan County, Taiwan, have announced that the project has now produced more than 38 million kWh of electricity as of the end of July 2023 since i ts opening in October 2021.
